First off - LOVE the app. We have been using for daughter's HS and travel teams for past 3 seasons and the coaches are blown away with all the info and the parents love the scorecasting feature. Unfortunately, I hit a snag that I haven't seen discussed on any previous posts.
The travel coach asked if he could get the previous year's stats on our team website since we were only showing the current year. The first issue was that I had setup a new team for this spring/summer season as the team tied to the team website, and simply changed the team name for last season from "Team" to "Team 2013". I then read about the team merge feature and how to use the active/inactive player mode in the team roster, and figured that would solve my problem to be able to show stats from both years. It worked like a charm except I have one player from last season that was merged into a different current player - different names, numbers, etc...so I have no idea why this happened. When I go back and update the correct player in the starting lineup of the first game of last season in Game Manager, the correction is made but continues through the entire player history for both seasons. The problem is that my original player from last season no longer even appears in my Player Manager list or Team Roster. If I manually change in Game Manager, it changes all games for both seasons. Any ideas what happened? I'm hoping the fix is somewhat simple since my player from last season is no longer on the team and the current player was not on the team last year so it is easy to identify what stats belong to which player. HELP!
Thanks.
Randy

Re: Issue with team merge
Once players are merged into a single player, all data about the players is treated as the same player in iScore, so there is not a way to "split" a player.
You can however create the missing player, and add the player to the Team Roster. Then you can go to the games that player was supposed to appear in, and remove the incorrect player from the lineup for those games, and add the new player in that player's place. You will have to do it for each game, and be sure to "sub in" the player as needed if they ever came in off the bench.

Re: Issue with team merge
Understand. I guess what has me perplexed is why two unique players were merged into a single player? There names and numbers are not the same, and each played in different seasons. I just want to make sure there is not a bigger issue here with the Team Merge feature.
Thanks for the quick response.
