Sorry for the confusion. What I am showing are the stats for 1 player (pitcher Brad Lidge) that has played just one game, which I scored. So, after downloading current stats, both the stats shown in my scored game and the stats from ESPN (Base) should be the same. But as you can see (not so clearly because posting does not maintain consecutive multiple spaces), there are serious problems with the stats from ESPN.

Since my previous examples dealt with batters, I wanted to show problems with pitching stats also, which I don't know if you were aware of. In this example, from left to right, everything seems OK until you get to the stats for ball and strikes, which ESPN stats shows 0 balls, 0 strikes, 0 PIT, (real numbers, as shown in my scored game are 4 balls, 7 strikes, 11 PIT), R, RA, ER, ERA are OK, and so on....

I was just bringing this to your attention and wondering if the fixes that we can expect in a future update will also correct these discrepancies.

Let me know if this explanation makes sense now...

So you are saying everything is correct except the balls, strikes and total pitches? We will see if we can get those numbers from ESPN. It is possible that data is not available, but if it is, we will start bringing that in as well.

No. There are other categories wrong:
BF
ERG
H
HR
WHIP
OBP
BAA

I don't know if the other stats that are in zero (0) in both places are wrong or not. For example, would BB show "0" even if the pitcher has awarded BBs?

Update: Inspecting other pitchers against ESPN data shows that BBs are also wrong....

We just confirmed we are not getting BF, Hits, Homeruns, and Runs correctly in our datafeeds... we are working to get this updated ASAP. It should not require waiting for the new release to get these corrected.

We got the BF, Hits, Homeruns, and Runs straightened out for pitchers. If you refresh your data, it should be correct now.

We will not be getting Strikes thrown and Balls thrown from the MLB feed. You can track them for the games you score on your own, but our feed does not have that data available for the season.

Thank you for letting us know about this issue.

MLB roster is reporting inaccurate stats. I am using version 2.70.89.

As noted previously, it appears that Plate Appearances are being used to calculate stats rather than At Bats.

Also, Adrian Gonzales of the Padres shows that he has pitched a game (doubt it), and shows that he issued 20 walks (BB). I might believe that if he did pitch....

Please let me know if I am looking at something wrong or do not have the right version of the software. I can provide screen shots if you need them.

Our next update will be fixing the Plate Appearances / At Bats issues. We changed to ESPN as our provider, and they are giving us the full statistics whereas our previous statistics provider did not have complete statistics so we had to improvise in some cases. Unfortunately some of that old code is still in the system so is not accurately reflecting AB vs PA. We intend to release an update very soon --- probably this weekend.

We are not seeing Adrian Gozalez as having pitched. He has walked 20 times as a batter, but not pitched 20 walks.

Try going to Options->Add Ons, and use the Refresh button to get the latest data for the MLB players.

Thanks for the reply. I have sent some screen captures to the support email that show the problem I am seeing with Adrian Gonzales and his "pitching" statistics.

We got the email, but did not get any attached images. Can you try sending again? Have you done the Options->Add Ons, Refresh recently to make sure you have the latest MLB statistics data? Thank you.
