Ghost Players on Scorecard

Post by 70clcl » Sat Jun 19, 2010 8:54 am

My daughter's team recently played in a state tournament for an organization we usually don't play in. The rules were a bit different, so I was caught a little bit off guard when we had the opportunity to bat up to 13 players in a bracket game.
In one game in particular, we were a couple of runners deep into the second time through the lineup before I realized that we were batting 11 players. When I went into the starting lineup and tried adding those additional 2 players I ended up with a 'null' runner on the bases and a couple of plays that extended past the inning summary of the scorecard. The scorecard also only shows 9 players participating. At this point, should I just call this game a wash?

this happens when you try and add/delete players to the line up after you have cycle through the line once. (which i see you did before you tried to correct. ) the way to clean up (if needed/worth the time). involves undo back and re score... For a number of reasons, once you cycle back to top of the order, iscore "locks in the number batting " to correct you need to go back and ad the players, before the top of the order comes back to the plate.

Yeah, that's what I expected. Shame on me for not paying close enough attention.
I'll just grab the paper scorebook from the coach and re-score the game.

Thanks!
