Can't edit to take away error
Can't edit to take away error
Using iScore, we were scoring a game... 1B drops a foul ball next to the stands. At first, official scorer and we give him an error. Later, it was determined that a fan interfered, so the error was taken away. I cannot figure out how to remove the error... If i go to play-by-play, i can change who the error was charged to, but there is no way that we can find to delete it.

Re: Can't edit to take away error
With the current editing, there is no way to add or remove plays, only change them. How much later is later in that case? You could always use Undo to get back to that point and correct the entry. It seems changing to "Fan Interfered" could have other consequences as well (like batter being called out).
To address the specific question, there are two ways the error can be removed from the first baseman's stats. One would be to create a dummy player on the team and assign the error to tha player. The other would be to go to the pitch just before the error, and do a substitution. Move the first baseman to another position (which leaves a ? at the first base position), save that, then go to the pitch after the error was assigned, and do another subsitution, and put the first baseman back at first, and restore whatever player was at the position you moved the first baseman to.
This will still leave an error assign to 1B, but since nobody is playing 1B at the time, it will not be assessed statistically to any player.

Re: Can't edit to take away error
I am unable to change who the error was assigned to. I originally assigned it to 2B, but found ou I need to change it to SS. I went into the play-by-play, and tried to change it there, but it keeps reverting back to the 2B. Any ideas?

Re: Can't edit to take away error
We just tried changing who an error was assigned to, and it did not work for us either. That should work, so is a bug. We will get it fixed right away. Thank you for pointing it out to us.

Any idea when this will be fixed? I am still having the same issue with trying to change a stolen base to advanced on batter.

It will be fixed with the next release. We do not have a date for the next release, but it will be soon.
