I'm having the same issue. I'm stuck at the end of the game screen and can not get back to the main menu for the app. I can get back to the apps list itself, but when I go back into the iScore app, I'm right back at the end of game screen and cannot get to the main iScore menu.
I'm using a 3rd generation iPod Touch 64GB, OS version 4.1 (latest OS update). I think this is the 3rd generation Touch, not sure. It's the one right before these new ones that just came out recently.
Any idea on how soon until Apple approves the update fix?
Also - how do I get back the batters information on the scoring screen? The app used to show the batters previous at bats in that game and what they did (walk, SO, hit) as well as where they hit the ball to in previous at bats during the same game. Is there somewhere to turn that back on because we really like that feature and use it quite a bit during games to set the infield.
Thanks!

Re: New 2.8 version won't exit
The previous at bats not showing is also caused by going in through "Score a Game". As long as you enter the scoring screen by going to Game Manager first, everything works as you would expect. You can do everything from Game Manager that you were able to do through Score a Game.
Once you are stuck in the App with iOS4, the way to get out is to first tap the Home button on the bottom of your device to get back to your home screen. Next, double tap the Home button on the bottom of your device to bring up the list of running applications. Then press and hold your finger over any of the icons for the currently running applications to make the "minus" signs appear. Tap the minus sign over iScore, and it will be closed. You can then go back in and it will take you to the main menu of iScore and you can go in to your games through Game Manager.
We asked for an expedited update, but have not heard anything back from them yet. The last full update took 7 days, so we would hope this one small update will take a much shorter time.

Re: New 2.8 version won't exit
Thanks for the instructions on getting out of the game - it worked excellently!!
You guys are top notch on communication!! Thank you for that!
I'll be sure to enter the game through the Game Manager for now on as it appears that's the preferred way to go... less issues.
Thanks again!
