Scoring Question: Bunt Foul on Third Strike

Ok, maybe I'm doing something wrong here but here is the scenario.

I had two runners on base (1st/2nd) with two outs. The batter had 2 balls and 2 strikes. He attempted a third strike bunt, but it went foul. umpire called batter out for bunt foul on third strike.

How do you score this?

I tried to hit foul thinking it would recognize it but then realized it didn't know it was a bunt. then I tried to hit bunt but there was no option for foul so I touched foul. Then there was no "called" out on the bunt.

Ideas?

For now, the best thing to do is mark it as strikeout swinging, and put a note that it was a bunted foul. Statistically, it is nothing more than a strikeout, but it is nice to know it was on a foul bunt situation. We will look to add that specifically as an option in the future.

Oh, and I thought I was doing something wrong. Just went back in and updated it as you say using Pitch by Pitch. Thanks for the quick response.

Where do the notes show up? I don't see them on the scorecard or in the stats?

good question. i do not believe, they have not made it to print outs yet
It was a feature request in the works.. I think i recall them going to be on the scorecard in an extra page, and perhaps in the play by play online. Will need to let FTM confirm and update.

They appear in the Pitch by Pitch, the iScorecast, and the Play by Play (Team website). We will be adding them to the scorecard in a future release.
