Overlapping data on scorecard

Batted around in an inning, in which one batter batted twice. Then later in the game an extra player showed and we went from 10 batters to 11. This causes the data for the one player who batted twice in an inning to overlap for that one inning. (Shows both his single and then his lineout as the last out in one square.) The only way around this seems to be to rescore the game and put all the batters in and use the "skip" for the batter until he/she arrives mid game. Is this a known issue? Workaround?
To sum it up there seems to be a bug where batting around in an inning and then later adding a batter causes overlapping data on scorecard.
This scenario shouldn't happen too often, but any advice so that the whole game doesn't need to be rescored using the "skip" batter function would be great.
Thanks for reading and any assistance/insight you may have.
