Stats doubled for one player, but no merge was performed.

I ran the stats yesterday before our game, and everything was fine. Today, I go to view the updated team stats, and one player's stats have doubled. No merging or any other kind of editing was done between the two days. Any idea why?

Check the game by game log for the player in player manager .. then go to the offending game in game manger and double check each line up in pitch by pitch editor > game starts event > show starting line up
see if you have double entry of him in the game (check both teams)

The problem is that it doubled the entire season's stats. Not just one game. In fact, his player card has the correct stats. But when I display the team stats, he has played in 38 games, while the rest of the team is at 19, and the rest of his stats are doubled as well.

Did you try and RECALC the stats
Team manager > team> Team stats > RECALC

This sounds like you either have the player in the Roster multiple times, or in the Lineup of game(s) multiple times. If you remove the duplicate(s) the stats should correct themselves.
