At our last game, a friend kept score for us who wasn't totally familiar with the iScore app. For the most part he scored the game fine, but there were a few instances where things got messed up. A lot of these I was able to fix by going into the "PLAY BY PLAY / EDIT GAME" screen and making the necessary changes. However, there were some things that the app would not let me fix.
The biggest issue happened in the 3rd inning. What happened in real life was: with runners on 1B and 2B, our #5 hitter hit a double, scoring the runner on 2B and moving the other runner to 3B. The scorekeeper somehow recorded what happened to the runners in this at bat, but without recording the double itself; so that when the #6 batter then came to the plate, iScore still showed the #5 hitter as being up. Therefore, what the #6 batter did was credited to the #5 batter; what the #7 batter did was credited to the #6 batter; and so on until the scorekeeper realized what had happened and just skipped a batter in the order to get the correct batter up again.
When I go into the Details screen, from "PLAY BY PLAY / EDIT GAME", for the play where the problem started, I can't see any way to fix the problem.
If anyone has a fix for this issue, please let me know. If it's possible to upload screenshots or a play-by-play file here, I will do so; I don't see anywhere to do that here though.
