had a SAC attempt, that ended with a SAC hit.

Pitcher attempted to throw out the lead runner. Bad throw from p to ss (E1) both runners safe.

Batter gets credited with a SH, and the scorebook, next to first base, reads "E(null)"

Keystrokes:
In Play
Sac Bunt with Error
<place ball>
P
safe
second
Error
P
safe
first
held up

on a related note, would this be a FC instead of a SH?

If the runner going to second would have been out had it not been for the bad throw by the pitcher, then yes, it would be a Fielders Choice, not a Sacrifice. If the runner would have been safe at second even with a good throw, but you determine that if the pitcher had thrown to first instead of second then the batter would have been out, then the batter still gets credit with a Sacrifice Bunt (as opposed to a Fielders Choice which hurts their Batting Average).

For the E(null), if you can export your data (Option->Export) and email us your customer ID (bottom left of Options screen) to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com, we can look at your database to see what is causing that. Please let us know in the email which game / play you are seeing the issue in.
