I believe I followed the instructions correctly (created player "Password" Password), exported to the database, and then tried to create a login using the customer ID & Password I typed into player manager, but the database is not recognizing my login. Suggestions?

There is actually a much easier way now... if you just go to Options->Admin Website on the device, you can set your password right from there and it will tell you how to log in.
