Exiting out/re-entering a game

I was scoring a game and at the end of the first inning, I went back to the Iscore home screen. I went back to game manager, and the game I was scoring shows up, but I can't figure out how to continue scoring from where I left off. In the top right corner of "game manager," it gives me the option of "New Game." Why isn't it letting me back into the game I was scoring?

Just touch the game that you were scoring in the Game Manager list, then touch Play in the upper right. It will take you back to the point you were scoring.

I'm not sure if this is a related question or not, or even if it is an issue, but want to get some pre-emptive advice before attempting something I will have to do.
On Saturday, we played a game in pouring rain here in sunny Seattle. We made it through the bottom of the 4th (our team leading 3-2, as visitor) when the umpires called the game. All believed it was offical, but as this was the first game of our first year in Koufax, we were wrong - an official game apparently has to go 5 innings (4.5 if home team leading) to be official, otherwise it is a suspended game to be resumed from that point at a later date.
Unfortunately, I had already hit "End Game." Is there a suggested way to handle this, or should I simply re-enter the game, hit undo to cancel the "end game", and resume scoring?

you do not have to re enter.
return to game over screen, hit undo,
you will be right where you were before you hit misc end game.

Best way is just press undo, and pick up where you left off.

I believe if you hit "Undo", it removes the last pitch/play prior to end game in some situations. Check that.
