Switch Hitter issues
Switch Hitter issues
I've noticed that the batter does not change side of the plate when the a LHP is subbed for a RHP. This happened in a few instances this weekend. Is this a problem that you guys are aware of?

Re: Switch Hitter issues
Batters will not automatically switch sides of the plate. You can "drag them" to the right side of the plate by placing your finger on the batter, and dragging them to the other side if that is the side they are batting on.

Re: Switch Hitter issues
Will they automatically start on the correct side of the plate to start the game?

Re: Switch Hitter issues
Batters set to right or left handed will start on the correct side of the plate (but can still be dragged to the opposite side as can happen often in softball for players deciding to do a drag bunt for example). Batters set as switch hitters will start as batting as a right hander. If they are up as a left hander, you can drag them to the left side.
