Problem correcting a scoring error...

In a game over the weekend, The batter hit a ball to left field and ended up on second base. I scored the play a Double. The official scorer of the game scored the play a Single, and Advanced to second on the throw. When I went back to correct the play, so my stats will be correct for the rest of the year, I'm unable to do so. The only thing I am able to change the play details to is either "hit double" which is already the play, or "ground rule double." I want to be able to change that to Single, advance on throw. Is this going to be in a future upgrade? If so, can it be soon.
great product, just trying to point out a few things to make it better.

We are always trying to improve what can be edited. If you are using iOS, you can directly edit your stats after the game by going to Game Manager, selecting the game, then selecting Batting Stats for the team you want to correct. Tap on the stat that is not correct (i.e. doubles) and set the value to what you want it to be. You can override any statistics this way, then in Pitch by Pitch just put a note as to what really happened.

I see what you are saying to do; but that certainly is not accurate. The user should be able to go back and make the correction within iScore after the fact otherwise the scoring is inaccurate. I now that when I have scored games this becomes very frustrating that I am unable to make the correction.

It is not a bug, but a known limitation of the program as it is currently implemented.
as you have been around for a while, you will recall the discussion that comes up often. ..
you can
* make "non game changing edits" in pitch by pitch editor , (e.g change substitutions, or change hit location)
* make game changing edits in main scoring screen using by undo and then re score forward, (eg change hit to an out) . (I know that is not a great answer, time consuming).
* or you can override stats as described which corrects cumulative stats, but leaves scorebooks and play by play 'off' and only notes to describe for later reference.
FTMs position has been because of the interdependent nature of events in baseball, that have not been able to have 100% past editing, and only non game changing revisions are editable in pitch by pitch editor, events that cause game changes are restricted. It is not perfect, but it is where it is at. and over time, we have seen FTM reduce the number of restricted edits. I think that is what is meant by continue to improve.
you are correct, you can not edit all events as you described without re scoring.
