Unable to download iScore for iPad from App Store

I recently purchased a new iPad 2. When I purchased the "iScore for iPad" app, I was unable to successfully download it using iTunes on a Windows XP system.

Somewhere between 8.5MB to 10MB, the download would restart. It would attempt 3-4 times, and then error out with a pop-up stating that the file was corrupt. The error code given was 8008.

I also attempted to download directly on the iPad, but also was unsuccessful.

I have been in contact with iTunes support. Their latest reponse is that they refunded the purchase, and will investigate the app.

Has anyone had a problem downloading before?

This would be an issue with iTunes, not the App.

I fully appreciate that the issue is with iTunes.

I posted the issue on the forum to see if anyone else is having a problem downloading the current version of the iPad app, and if so, to alert FTM that an issue existed that prevented users from accessing their application.

I had the exact problem. Tried mulitple times to stop and restart it, with no success. I finally deleted all together and tried the next day and it downloaded and work just fine. Not sure why. But did have your exact problem.
