When I try to change the mound distance, the app shuts down. I can re enter the app, and open the game without losing any data, but the system won't let me change the mound distance.

We just tried on a device here and updating the mound distance worked fine. Be sure you are running the newest version of iScore (3.51 or 3.52). If you are not, go to the App Store on your device and go to the Updates tab and update to the newest version.
