Put Outs incorrect - kindle fire

Post by Sliderball1 » Sun Jul 08, 2012 10:29 am

The putouts are not calculating correctly. Our first baseman seems to incorrectly be getting awarded the putouts. The 3rd baseman had 3 or 4 putouts and iscore marks her with zero.

The calculations for put outs would be based on what was entered into iScore. It seems very unlikely that the third baseman would have that many put outs. We could see a third baseman having many assists, but if there is a grounder to third base, and the third baseman throws to first (5-3), then third baseman would get an assist and the first baseman gets the put out.

For a third baseman to get 3 or 4 putouts, that would mean there are 3 or 4 outs recorded at third base during the game?

Thanks for the explanation and sorry for my confusion. Is there a document that shows the definitions as well as how each field is calculated to avoid further mistakes. I have been learning as I go but I would be nice to have such a confusion for myself as well as the team that looks at these stats.

We use the standard definitions for all statistics. Here is a Wikipedia link with a nice reference:
