We have not seen this issue before. First thing we always recommend is making sure you fully power off the device to make sure all memory has been freed. (See this link:
http://iscore.fasterthanmonkeys.com/faq.jsp#memory).
The second thing we have seen is some users have experienced database issues when using a jailbroken device. Do you happen to be running a jailbroken device? (fyi... we know Apple does not officially support jailbroken devices, but we also know that there are legitimate reasons that people do it... we do not do anythign to intentionally prevent the running of iScore Baseball on a jailbroken device, and when we can identify incompatibilities, we do try to fix them.)
If neither of the above apply, you can try exporting your database to us (Options, Export), and sending us an email to
support@fasterthanmonkeys.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false with your Customer ID (bottom left of Options screen). We will then take a look at your database to see what could be causing the trouble.
Please do let us know if the above helped or not, and we can continue working through the issue as needed.
Thank you.

If you could please export your database and email us as outlined in the previous message, we would like to take a look at your database to see what might be causing issues for you. Thank you.

fyi... for anyone reading this thread.
The problem turned out to be Leagues. The customer had added new players only to the "All" league, and had assigned Teams to the All league and an additional league. In League Manager, only that additional league was selected (and not "All").
Doing this effectively filters out all players not in the new league. You will still see them listed in a team roster, but you can only edit and see players in Player Manager if they are in a League that is currently active.
