I created team stats report using default & league data. 10 game total: 7 win/3 loss/ 0 ties. 1 player stats show 13 games played.
How can this be?

Sounds like you may have added that player on both the home + visitor teams for a few games. Go through the games and check the starting lineup for both home + visitor and remove the player from the team he is not on. To edit the starting lineups, go to Game Manager, select the game, select Pitch by Pitch, tap on the Game Starts event, then tap Edit next to Starting Lineup and you can check the home and visitor lineups.
