This has happened the last two times I've tried to score the Cubs game, specifically when I have had to make a substitution.
Both times I've had to make a note in the pitch-by-pitch that the person that isn't viewable (and is perfectly viewable in the Cub roster BTW) is the real substitution. It's very annoying to have to do that.
Is that going to be fixed sometime soon? Because that is very annoying.

Re: Players in an MLB roster are NOT viewable while in-game
We are not quite sre what you mean by not viewable. Are you saying the player is in the Team Roster in iScore (when you view roster from Team Manager for the Cubs), but you go to make a substitution, and the player is then not selectable as a sub?
Or are you saying the player is not even in the team roster from Team Manager? If the player is not in the team roster from Team Manager, is it possible you had not gone to Options->Add Ons to get the latest rosters? We update the rosters at 8am Pacific every morning.
If you can give us a specific example of this happening, we can check our Team Rosters for any given day on our server to make sure the Cubs had the player you expected (we keep the data for every update).
Please email us directly at support@fasterthanmonkeys.com with your customer ID, and make sure you do an Export so we can see your data. In the email, please tell us which game did not have a player available that should have.
Thank you.

The players in question are viewable in Team Manager for the Cubs, but when I go to make a substitution, the players I just saw in the Team Manager aren't selectable as subs.FTMSupport wrote:We are not quite sre what you mean by not viewable. In the April 5th game, I had to add Tyler Colvin (who pinch-hit later that same game) as the pitcher to replace Sean Marshall. The guy's name was James Russell. In today's game, I had to substitute THE SAME PITCHER, who STILL isn't selectable as a sub. I had to throw in Ted Lilly instead. That's pretty frustrating IMO.

When creating the game, are you removing the players that are not in the game from the lineup? That is a mistake we have heard people make a few times. Players that do not play in the game should not be removed from the lineup --- they should just be marked with Batting = NO and Position = OUT. Only players in the lineup are available for selection as subs.
The Team Roster is the default set of players for the lineup. The lineup should still contain active players from the roster even if they are not batting.

No. I'm using the same roster as shown in the lineup.FTMSupport wrote:When creating the game, are you removing the players that are not in the game from the lineup? It's bizarre.

Re: Players in an MLB roster are NOT viewable while in-game
So when you go to Misc->Show Starting Lineup from the scoring screen, it is showing the full 25-man roster with 9 players set to batting=YES, 16 set to batting=NO, but then you click on a position to do a sub, it does not allow you to pick from the other 16 players on the starting lineup?
