Tweets not posting other than begin/end of game

I am using an iPhone 4, with iOS 7.1 and version 4.41 of iScore (March 21, updated on March 22).

I did use the app after the most recent update with no problems. On Sunday, the standard info was tweeted at the beginning of each inning and I was able to tweet when there was a pitcher change.

Yesterday there were only two tweets from the game. (I did double check and tweeting was turned on.) One was at the start of the game and the other was at the end of the game. I tried to force a tweet when there was a pitching change, but nothing was tweeted.

I exited scoring and went into tweet set up. I did not deauthorize my Twitter id, but I did send a test tweet. It was posted. There were no more tweets until the end of the game.

Today I tried a couple of things before posting this. I closed the app and restarted the phone. I tried to tweet with no result. Then I deauthorized and reauthorized my Twitter id. I sent the test tweet successfully, but tweets are still not being sent.

Any suggestions?

The same thing happened yesterday. There was a game has started tweet, but none between innings.

We just created a new game with Twittercast turned ON on our iOS 7.1 device. When Play was pressed, the begin game tweet was sent. We then tapped Out -> Strikeout Swinging three times. A tweet was sent at the end of the half inning. Did it three more times for the other team and a tweet was sent out. Then did a single Strikeout, and used Misc -> End Inning to see if ending an inning early caused an issue, but again, the tweet was sent. Then used Misc -> End Game and the Game Over tweet was sent.

Be sure you have Twittercast turned ON on the Options screen in iScore. You can try the above test as well while you have a good internet connection (WiFi is best to eliminate that as an issue) to make sure things are working as expected. If you perform the above steps with Twittercast enabled on your device, and you do not get the same result, please email us with your customer ID and the Twitter account that you performed the test with to support@iscoresports.com and we will try and see what is going on.

I tried those same steps and was successful. Then, without changing anything, I went into last night's game. (I had not finished scoring it.) I pressed the tweet button and nothing happened on Twitter. I am doing this from home, so wifi is strong here and not a problem.

I have been scoring at games this year without wifi, and the tweets have been sent. I often check Twitter early in a game, just to verify. I also check after a pitching change, since I tweet that status. Nothing is happening when in an actual game.

It can't be because the prior game was not completed, because I had games not completed when running the test.

If you can do an Export from iScore and email your customer ID and which game it is that is not sending tweets, we can take a look at your data and see if there is anything about that specific game that might be causing the tweets to not be sent. Since you confirmed that using the same steps we did actually does send tweets, it makes this even more odd. But maybe that actually does point to it being something specific about the game. Please send the email to support@iscoresports.com and we can take a look.

I have no idea what was different, but I scored a game yesterday and all tweets went through.

That means it was likely just internet connectivity issues at the field. Even when you have full bars on your internet connection that does not always indicate the quality of the connection. It just means it is detecting a nearby tower.
