screen flash after update?

Good Morning
Not sure if anyone else is seeing this after the new IOS update and the iScore app update? When I use the In Play or Out buttons and enter a result, the screen flashes to the field layout for a second (which is blank showing no fielders or runners) and then goes back to the field screen showing fielders & runners awaiting the next result. Swiping & using the quick out input options doesn't seem to cause the screen flash. I'm using an iPad with IOS8.

The flash is caused by the way iOS8 handles "popovers". They try and make all changes to popovers use a "transition" which causes the flash. We are trying to figure out a way to work around this new iOS8 behavior, but have not found a way yet. It does not stop anything from working, but does not look as nice as pre-iOS8 behavior.
