Odd number of guys and girls
I play in a softball league that allows you to bat all your players. The only rule is that you have to bat boy/girl. Sometimes I'll have 7 guys but only 5 girls but everyone can at least participate. Is there a way to accommodate this? In playing with mock games I found you can edit the lineup in the misc menu and slide everyone around to the correct position but that would be time consuming and hard for my 70 yr old scorekeeper. You can also hit skip batter 10+x and rotate to the right spot over and over. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to the board.
This is on FTM's to do list when it moves up the priority food chain. There was some spirited dialogue last summer regarding this with some good feedback. FTM has been good about accommodating user feedback so I would expect to see this sometime in the future.

Iscore is just not built for managing this.
The workaround to keep stats correct, use manual substitutions for every at bat (not misc show starting line up) but realize the scorecard will not be right at all.

Thank you for your responses. Hopefully it's something they impalement in a future release. I've done official scoring for Minor League baseball and this is by far one of the easiest programs to use. I haven't found a program built for odd batters yet, maybe someday.

Would adding another player to the roster with the same name as the player you want to duplicate work? The stats would be split between the two players with the same name, but it might solve the issue. Then at any point, you could merge the two players to combine the stats, if merge actually combines.
Cheers,
Jason

Merge does combine, but you can not merge two players that played in the same game.

Site Admin. Have you looked at implementing my original question? Just curious since the new season is rapidly approaching?

Still have it on the list, but it is still a lower priority. We constantly re-evaluate priorities, so as soon as it is the item getting more requests than other higher priority items, it will be moved up. Thank you.

Re: Odd number of guys and girls
It's been six months since I've seen any activity on this. You still have it on a list? If so, at the bottom still? Is there any chance it will be in a release by March or April when we start tournaments?
Re: Odd number of guys and girls
I can't imagine with the numerous suggestions that will effect a lot of people, that this will make it up there for a while. Hopefully not before email SCORECAST remembers last input or gets linked to the address book.
