Editing a missed run

Post by MHEMD » Fri Mar 04, 2011 10:02 am

In last nights game I missed a run that was scored in the second inning. It was scored by a runner on third who stole home on a passed ball. I didn't realize this until the next inning after I had continued to score the game. Thought I would go to the play by play and edit after the game but it will not allow me to move the runner on third on the pitch that was the past ball.

Any suggestions in re how to deal with this?

The editor does not allowing game changing edits such as runs. You can edit the stats to reflect the run, RBI for the players involved but you can't change the play to reflect on the scorecard without hitting undo to the run then rescoring.

Thanks. Is there a tutorial about editing stats? I have tried to do this but they keep reverting back to the original entry

Make sure you do *not* have recalc set to YES, as that is what reverts the stats to the calculated ones. If you make edits, recalc should be NO.

general rule on iphone, if edits are not "sticking", make sure you hit enter on the keyboard as opposed to hide keyboard button (something i often do )
