Change from roster bat to 9 player??

Post by SupraxM » Fri Apr 15, 2011 7:28 pm

After scoring the inning, I noticed that the visitors only batted 9players, so the 9-11 batters were actually the top of the lineup. How do I correct thAt???

It sounds like for this specific game, for the visitor team in the starting line up screen, you had batter 10 and batter 11, set to "bat =no". I am afraid, If you did not catch this real time and correct, there is no easy way to go back after the fact and correct without using undo and rescoring the game from where the mistake first happened.

The current version of Iscore relies heavily on the starting line ups to establish the number of batters so it knows who to bring up next. You can't edit the starting line up mid game and have iscore "re roll" past activities to new line up number.

In the future..
when you set the starting line up to start the game, double check you have who is batting correctly set to "bat = Yes". In a youth league where "all bat". You need to make sure each player in line up is set to "bat = yes". If you use quick roster, enter the same number for both number of players (ie say 11) and number batting (eg 11), quick roster then assigns all 11 as "bat =yes"

if while scoring in a game and you notice the mistake before you have returned to the top of the order, you can correct the line up with "misc > show starting line up" to change batters from "bat =no" to "bat = yes". From the point forward, the new batters will be there, (nice for when you start batting 10 and an 11 th batter shows up later and needs adding to end of line up).
