Printing Pitch by pitch game summary

Post by Tim12fagan » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:27 am

Is there a way to print the pitch by pitch game summary? Printing the scorebook is great and contains the information in one format, but since iscore maintains the pitch by pitch format, with editing capcaity, providing a print feature would prove useful.

We do not have a print option for Pitch by Pitch. You can view it in the iScorecast for a game. You can also view/print a Play by Play summary by logging in to your Admin Website. We do not have a Pitch by Pitch email report option mostly because of the size it would be. We do get this request quite often though, so will likely be adding an option for it in an upcoming release.

+1 (again) very helpful when having to re-score a game and you do not have the benefit of having two devices or a second computer handy to view it on the web

There is a free printer app that lets you print to a PDF file. PDF995. I have used this to print the pitch by pitch for scoring or re-scoring a game when I mess it up.

Once on the website with the pitch by pitch on your screen, you simply hit the Print button, then select PDF995 as your printer. It will print in color too !

Maybe it's called Play by Play online, I havent done it yet this year, but I think that is it, not Pitch by Pitch

The pitch by pitch and play by play are two different things. Play by play can by accessed from the admin site. Pitch by pitch shows every play and can be accessed by the game manager. (This is where you edit.) Being able to print either would be convenient, especially if having to rescore, as Ohio Tex said.

How about an e-mail of the Pitch by Pitch but with the report compressed (zipped)? To me an e-mail is more useful because I can print or view on my larger screen, whichever is more convenient.
