Error or not?

As you were there and saw the actual play, you will have the better judgment as to whether it is an error or single. In the more detailed description above, single and error could be correct, but I wasn't there. At the end of the day it should be the scorekeeper's judgment.

As team mom says, you were there and have the best judgement of the play. If the CF had absolutely no play on the ball, then yes, I might score it a single plus error. However, if the CF has a play (even if it has to be a spectacular play), then I score it as a mutlibase hit. I think it would also negatively impact a pitcher's stats if the fielders were always pulling up on fly balls to avoid errors rather than making difficult attempts. The rules also state that scorers should give batters the benefit of the doubt.
