Play by Play editing

Post by Bibi50 » Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:45 pm

The home team made the substitution SS<->Pitcher at the beginning of 4th.
I noticed the change at the beginning of 5th, made the sub at that point and kept on scoring till the end of the game.

When at home I looked at the scorecard and realized my mistake. So I edited the "Play by Play" by making the right substitution at the beginning of 4th and checked that no sub was shown in the "Play by Play"at the beginning of 5th. Fine.

But the scorecard still shows the substitution at the beginning of 5th and not at the beginning of 4th. How can I correct this ?

Cheers
Fab

The scorecard on the device is suppose to update 'real time' when ever you make changes in the 'pitch by pitch'. So I would suggest you review the changes in pitch-by-pitch and make sure they saved. If the pitch-by-pitch is correct and the scorecard is still off, a trick you can try is hit play again, game over screen, undo, redo, exit.. Sometimes this forces recalculations ..

If you have a Team Website, and are referring to the Scorecard there, but sure to email yourself the scorecard again after making a change as the server saves the Scorecard for your website whenever you email it.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!

@ OhioTex: I tried your trick but it didn't work.
@ FTMSupport : I do not have a Team Website so I was referring to the "normal" scorecard produced at the end of the game.

Next time I'll be more careful ;-)

Thanks for your help

on the device, the score card should update to reflect the pitch by pitch. I am puzzled that it is not.

I am going to suggest you export your data base and send an email to support@iscoresports.com and have them look at it. please remember to include your customer/device ID in the email and describe the situation and specify the specific game in question. ( the folks that answer the emails are not always the same as on the forum). also include the android device type and the software version is 3.20.201.

Stupid of me.
I edited the Pitch by Pitch at the beginning of BOTTOM 4th when the home team was batting ! Obviously the change of the home team pitcher is shown at the beginning of TOP 5th .
I re-edited the game and everything is fine.

Thank you OhioTex
