Weather and Calendar reminders

Newbie here having fun trying to put together a website and have 2 questions.

I added a weather widget to my website in wix and when I publish it I can see it, but it does not show up on my iscore website.

And secondly, is there a way to have Google calendar send an email reminder of practices/games to everyone on the team? Would I need to "invite" everyone to each event?

I have not found a way for google calendar to be your message management tool.

Instead I found and use a secondary complimentary product from teamSnap.com (free for basic, more for extra features).. It does the "team Manager ADMIN stuff" for me well in terms of calendar and schedule and message management . . TeamSnap.com. I create a link on my iscore team site to my tam snap site, and a link on my team snap site to my iscore team site. not perfect. but works well. instead of embedding my google calendar, i embed my team snap calendar (easy).

I can not see the weather widget on your team site either. looks like you have a good handle on wix from rest of your site. must be a simple tag or something you missed on the weather widget. (sorry no more help)

P.S. on your team site embedded google calendar. i get message " Events from one or more calendars could not be shown here because you do not have the permission to view them". I have found easier to just make google calendars public, instead of making everyone have a google account and sign in. (you do that in google calendar sharing settings, make public)

..also you can add weather on google calendar).. not as good as the home page weather wiget but a stop gap till you solve the other

Thank you OhioTex for the quick response. I know the coach currently uses "Weplay" that I believe is similar to Teamsnap, so I will probably try to go that route. Thanks for the suggestion - it's nice to learn from someone that has been using it awhile instead of driving myself crazy trying to figure out something that can't be done!

I decided the weather is not that important for now...just thought it would be a nice to have when you are constantly checking the radar before gametime. Time to learn to score...first game is Sunday!

the best way to get started is watch the online training videos, and then score a live game on TV. if you will be scoring youth games.. usually MLB games more simple and less crazy than youth ball. try the tv game with sound on and sound off (bit different w/o announcer aide). also try to do a last minute line up scramble. try starting without knowing the line up, try a quick roster and edit the names in as you go.. also for youth ball, most folks start w/o pitch type and speed . most of all have fun
