VarVee Compatibility

Post by drum_24 » Fri Nov 18, 2011 7:57 am

Hello!

I am new to iScore and love it.

I coach 3 sports in Indiana and will use iScore for all three, if i can get compatibility with it.
I'll also recommend it to every opponent we play!

Indiana sports now uploads all of its stats to VarVee.com. It uploads in .xml format however.

Here is a message from VarVee that will clear up the support that is needed...

We are delighted to work with you to supply VarVee with stats.
Attached is a sample file with a file layout. – SAMPLE FILE BELOW

1. We suggest you name the file with the team name.txt so the coach can recognize it. (example – laffeyejeff.txt)

2. Attached is a VarVee logo for your site. You can size it accordingly. Please send us a logo that we can use as appropriate to market your app.

3. If possible, please provide instructions to the coaches who will upload information to the coaches application in http://www.varvee.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Tell them the name of the file they will need to find using the ‘browse’ or ‘choose file’ (on a MAC) to do the upload.

4. Please send us a sample output file when this is complete. We will do a Quality Assurance test and approve you as VarVee stats partner.

Sample file and documentation

1. 'JerseyNumber',

2. 'TotalPoints',

3. 'FieldGoalMade',

4. 'FieldGoalAttempt',

5. 'ThreePointMade',

6. 'ThreePointAttempt',

7. 'FreeThrowMade',

8. 'FreeThrowAttempt',

9. 'OffenseRebound',

10. 'DefenseRebound',

11. 'Assist',

12. 'Steal',

13. 'Block',

14. 'Turnover',

15. 'PersonalFoul"
