Player Card

I probably missed this answer in the forum already, but I just completed a simulation game to get the hang of this great app. When I view my team stats via either the Player Manager Screen or the Team Manager Screen, the team stats show up. When I click on an individual player in either screen and click the Player Card choice, the box score stats also show up for the player, however, the hit chart is blank. When I was playing the game, the hit chart was on, showing the hits for each at bat. How do I get the hit chart to upload the "at bats" for the player card.

Also, during a game, by the pitch by pitch locator, there is a slide dial numbered 1 - 110 and it also has an "off" feature. Is this some sort of pitch count feature and how does it work?

The hit charts for the players on the player card are updated when the game is over. If your game is actually over, and you are still not seeing the hit charts, try doing a force restart of iScore. To do this, tap your home screen button to exit any app you may be in, then double tap the home screen button and the list of running apps will appear at the bottom of your screen. Hold your finger on the iScore icon until the apps start shaking, then press the "-" button to close iScore (do not press an "x" if one appears... it means you were on the wrong icon and this would delete iScore). After closing iScore, open it again and try viewing the hit chart.

The slide dial is for pitch speed, and the numbers are so you can select MPH of the pitch.

Thanks. It worked. I have to admit. I was a traditionalist with my scorebook. There was nothing that was gonna make me give up my pencil and scorebook. I spent countless hours in front of an excel spreadsheet doing our team stats. When I heard about this app, I said "No Way", even though I heard how great it was, then for xmas my wife bought me the IPad2 and this app. I am beyond hooked. I have been walking around the house with my IScore app, trying to get as many practice games as possible to get used to this. I absolutely love it. Goodbye pencil !!!!
