Texas Rules - How to add runner on 2B?

Post by morehousekc » Fri Apr 26, 2013 4:03 pm

I know I've seen this before, maybe last year sometime. But I can't find the answer now and search isn't pulling anything up. Of course I was home team (official scorebook), when my daughter's 12U softball game went 9 innings, using Texas rules for the last 3. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to add a runner to 2B without having them bat, so talk about a pain trying to record outs on ghost players. Help! I need to go back and correct those entire innings. Thanks.

You use Misc -> Tie Breaker from the main scoring screen.

Rats! That makes sense. Wish I remembered that during the game. I have a feeling I can't use that when trying to go back and fix things after the fact though, right?

You would have to Undo back to that point in the game, then score for from that point forward.
