Scoresheet enhancement request.

Post by jojolemon » Sat Feb 20, 2010 8:54 pm

New user here...I've only scored 2 games so far.

I'd like to see the addition of a vertical bar for batter/defensive substitutions on the scoresheet...along the lines of the lilac horizontal bar that shows up for pitching substitutions. Is this something other people would like? It just makes it easier to parse the scoresheet after the fact.

I also commented elsewhere that I'd like notes to be included on the scoresheets and was told that feature is already in the works.

Thanks.

We actually had vertical lines for offensive substitutions in an internal version of the scoresheets at one point, but found some situations where it led to issues, so never turned it on for our released version of iScore. You are the first person to ever request it, but we will look to refine this capability so we can include it in a future version as well.

Thank you.

I know that when I score on paper, I use a vertical bar so I can more easily see when different players occupied that spot in the order.

I have suggested a small number for the batter centered in top of box if second or later player in batting order. A thick line denoting a pitching change would be nice.
