Add-On Imported MiLB
When I import MiLB rosters, they include players from a previous season, many of whom have moved on. Shouldn't the import override the old roster with the 2014 roster, eliminating former players?

No, using Discover will not remove players... it is only additive. If there are players you no longer want on the team, you can remove them from Team Manager by selecting the team, going to Roster, and removing the players from there.

Re: Add-On Imported MiLB Teams
I recently scored MiLB San Antonio Missions vs Corpus Christi Hooks; double A Texas League. I first went to "Options" and up-dated the Rosters (I bought the subscription quite a while ago). That done, I went to Team Manager, San Antonio Missions, the roster of which did not include one single player in the game Lineup or in the roster sheet that I bought at the game. Very strange. I would have thought at least some of the current players should appear in the iScore download. Is the Roster add-on in iScore an annual subscription or a one-time payment of $25? I have had similar problems with NCAA rosters, but at least some current players show up in iScore. In a previous post I asked if each years new roster supecedes the old roster and was informed that the rosters are only "additive" i.e. new players are added and previous players must be deleted in Team Manager. So....two questions: (1) is the Roster Add-On an annual subscription, and if so, how do I re_subscribe? and (2) Why would the San Antonio Missions roster from iScore not include a single current player?
PS: Only a few of the Corpus Christi Hooks players were in the iScore downloaded roster???? Please explain. Thanks,

Yes the "2014 MLB add on" is an annual subscription and it is $19.99. Here is the web site to find out more about and to purchase.
http://iscoresports.com/baseball/addons.php
If you have an iOS device you can purchase the MLB add on from your phone/tablet. ..
go to Options > Add on and you will see if you have a current 2014 paid subscription and can "update" or "buy" ($19.99). yes it is annual subscription.

Re: Add-On Imported MiLB
The Update under Options only updates MLB teams.
To get the MiLB rosters, go to Team Manager -> Discover -> MiLB, and select the team you want to get the updated roster for. The data is updated daily to match what is seen on milb.com.

Re: Add-On Imported MiLB
Thank you very much. I do have the 2014 Add-On. And I followed your instructions for getting MiLB team rosters. Voila! It worked. I assume that the same procedure would be necessary to get the latest NCAA team roster, etc. OK. Makes my $20 well spent. Thanks again.

Re: Add-On Imported MiLB
My apology for asking this question again. I found this series of posts and got the MiLB and NCAA rosters under Team Manage...Discover. No problems. I have not been active in a long time, but am now practicing so as to score my grandson's games at JUCO.....I did not find NJCAA rosters, except one for Temple University...I think it's a JUCO. Cheers, rockportjack

Re: Add-On Imported MiLB
The NCAA rosters should appear for any team you can find on the ncaa.com site. If you are finding a team on ncaa.com that has a roster and is not available as a Discover Team option in iScore, please let us know which one it is and we will take a look to see what is going on.
