Re: Historical MLB rosters
Is it required to purchase a Retrosheet subscription every year? I had purchased already and do not see it on my iPad any longer?
Just wondering if there was a change in this? Thanks.

Re: Historical MLB rosters
The MLB add on is a $19.99 [updated] annual subscription
I don't use retro sheet . So do not know if it requires a seperate fee.. But i doubt it
With mlb add on Retrosheet should show as an option under team manager > discover team> scroll to end of list
Retrosheet will NOT show under game manager > add game > discover game.
Make sure looking for retrosheet under team manager not game manager or player manager

Thanks, It used to be there on my iPad now it is gone. So I would assume I would need to purchase MLB2016 for the same data, again?
Is there anyone at Iscore who can answer this? Retrosheet was a $19.99 (I believe) purchase.
Re: Historical MLB rosters
Yes you wound need to purchase The MLB add on each yesr as it is an annual subscription.
Yes It is $19.99/ year ( not 10$, i miss spoke below)
No, there is not a second purchase for retrosheet
Your original post was not clear that you had not purchased the MLB 2016 add on this year.
When you Purchase the mlb 2016 add on you will see retrosheet under discover team again.

Re: Historical MLB rosters
Hi, thanks for all the helpful info. If I purchased MLB add on Retrosheet historical seasons when does the annual subscription end?
Re: Historical MLB rosters
the simple answer is each year, as the MLB subscription is Seasonal (not 12 months or annual). I renew each spring. but i have never seen a specific end date (which is to the User advantage).Sparticus wrote:Hi, thanks for all the helpful info. a specific "end date", I suspect is driven by when "next season" is for your league and when next season data is 'available' to iscore from their supplier .. for example I use for NCAA rosters, which means i need and buy an update around Jan/Feb each year for NCAA roster downloads , (then i just get MLB when it is ready). for MLB users, rosters and daily updates begin around March/April each year. NFL rosters would be a August time frame.
MLB Retrosheet, however, is a bit different (see below post) as the subscription only pulls down 1950 - 2012, for 2013 to Current, you need to communicate with Support to get. and what is "current year" i suspect will depend on when they get next year data (eg 2016 MLB data) from their provider, but i do not expect the subscription to be "12 months" rather "seasonal"...
For reference,From Support on another post.
Anyone that has the current year MLB subscription, we will activate the previous years on request as well to fill in the gap from 2013 and forward. Retrosheet data goes through 2012 as noted. Just send the request to support@iscoresports.com and indicate that you have the current year subscription, include your customer ID so we can confirm the current year purchase, and request that you would like the previous years added to your account as well.
