A couple of questions about 2.6

I see we now have team colors, but I don't see where these come into play in the program. I was really looking forward some differentiation between top and bottom of the inning, away vs home rosters, top vs bottom of play by play, but I see none of these.
Am I missing something?
I also notice that in Play by Play, the "outs" display is in a red color that my eyes have real trouble reading. Having all the outs red doesn't really offer any additional information and just seems unfortunately gratuitous. Is there a reason for this.

Thanks.

As we put in the release notes (which you can now see from within the applicaiton by tapping the version number on the title screen), the colors and short name were put in for future use. You can assign them and see them in team manager, but we are still working on ways to best utilize them without ruining the look of the application. These enhancements will come.

In play by play, the purpose of the outs being in red is so that you can quickly glance through the listing and find where the outs took place. It helps make them stand out just as we use other colors for base hits, runners advancing, etc. Maybe we can add an option to turn off the color coding for folks that don't want it in the future, but it does serve a purpose beyond just being gratuitous.

Thank you.

Thanks for the info, and I hope i didn't sound snarky! As I hope you can tell from my posts of late, this is my favorite app of the >160 apps I have on my phone, and my obsession with using it is starting to disturb even me!

For some reason, the size of the red type in play by play, and the vibrancy of the color (almost fluorescent) causes real legibility problems for me. It almost seems as if the numbers are red, outlined with a pixel of white or something. Maybe using the same tone of red as the strike zone right next to it would give the same information, be more in keeping with the "old school baseball" styling of the program, and be more legible.

Take a look if you would, but if I'm the only one who thinks this, just ignore this thread. You guys put together such a fabulous app, I'm happy to defer to you.
Thanks again.

Toned down the red a bit... see what you think.
