Two suggestions to take advantage of some additional screen real-estate.
1) Slide the Field up closer to the rosters and add another row of single click events. One particularly helpful one would be a Strike Swinging and change the Strike button to be Strike looking. Also add that to the stats page.
2) In the blank space above where you log pitch location, add a smaller version of the diagram and keep a cumulative view of the current pitcher. You could get a good sense of where they are missing their spots.
As an aside, great product!! I was never really able to use the iPhone version but this is a dream!!

Mark, regarding strike swinging you can currently touch the strike icon then sweep you finger and it registers as strike swinging. The strikes swinging show as colored on the scorecard but I am not sure about the stats page.

Touching down on the Strike button and swiping up will register the event as a swinging strike. The same motion on the Ball button will register an Intentional ball. The same motion on the Out button will bring up the Quick Play dialog which allows you to register common out scenarios in three touches.
Pressing the button below the speed scroller to the left of the Pitch chart shows the pitchers cumulative pitch history for the game.
