Thank you FTM. I will be scoring another game today (and tomorrow) and will make a note of how I start each game. My speculation about quick roster possibly having something to do with it will probably be tested today, as I don't have a roster for the other team and won't until game time, so I'll likely use QR. I will report anything I can remember of key strokes to start a game.

Generally, I start games through Game Manager, new game. Then I enter the team names (and in the case of the games where this problem occurred, I believe in one if not both situations I used QR after entering "new team" for either home or visiting team, as they case may have been), usually selecting one or two more players than I think I will need and hitting save. Then I go to options, usually just to make sure that 7 innings is selected (this is Koufax ball). After that, I will go to our line-up and make any adjustments to make sure the order is correct at that point.

When I get the line-up card, I start to replace Player 1, Player 2, etc. on the opposing line-up with information about the actual player name & number. Sometimes I have to do this by selecting misc>show starting line-up between batters, if they game starts at the same time I get the card. Occasionally I will see that I forgot to note positions as I do this, and will usually try to fix that through misc.show starting line-up rather than tapping the defensive positions and replacing the ? there. Really not sure if any of this is responsible, or helps, but that is as much of what I can remember of what I did, in what order.

For today's game, as I sit here I followed exactly that order of doing things (except for not having any line-up info yet) and hit done. I will now select the game when I get there, hit play, and make line-up changes as I get them.

That's really as much as I can remember or report about key-strokes. I did upload my database, I think last Monday (I can send you my customer ID if you want) and uploaded the two games that the problem occured in - the only two games I've scored on the iPad and uploaded to that device ID. I did later transfer data to my iTouch, as that is the account where all previous 2010 games were scored and to which my website is associated.

I hope at least some of this helps.
