Game Dates

Post by Doersch » Thu May 20, 2010 10:17 am

For the record...my entire coaching staff thinks this is one WAYYY cool program. Here is my issue.

Because we got iScore 2 weeks into the season I had to go back and recreate games played in the past...I put the correct game dates and times in the screen but when I move the info out to our I cast website is shows the game dates as the date i entered all the info...also if I edit a play...now it moves that date to the top of the list...I think you need to have the "game date" go in the column.

Thanks

If you go to Game Manager -> select the game in question -> scroll to the bottom - you can change the game start and stop time.

i believe you are talking about iscoreCast, without a team web site.
http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/player.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You are correct, the index of games is by "Last one in, goes on top" not by start/end date. but by date syncronized. It is a bit annoying, but fixing it is probably not high on FTM list of priorities, So what you can is trick the system on your own, and then go from there. .

Assuming you have all your old games still on your hand held, i would first backup your database with options export (just for safe keeping). and then clear out all your iscorecast games (admin web site deleate each one) and then re iscorecast sync them in teh order you want. before you re iscore cast in the order you want, 1st on bottom, last on top, you may want to also a) edit the game name if it has a bad date, (default game names included creation date), b) edit start end dates (scroll wheel), and the c) re oiscore syncronize each game, in oldest to newsest order.
