Removing a skipped batter

Post by dannin1 » Mon May 24, 2010 6:28 am

In the middle of a game a batter was skipped due to injury. I elected to "SKIP" the batter as opposed to removing him from the lineup as he had already batted once and i was afraid if i removed him mid game i may loose his first at bat. Problem is this batter didn't return and when it came to his spot in the lineup the third time i failed to skip him. Therefore, after the game ended i realized the scorecard from that point forward was off by one batted position. Is there a way to edit this in "pitch-by-pitch" or some other way and just rotate everyone's at bat up a spot so i can get stats corrected for each player.

Thanks.

The only way to fix the game at this point would be to use Undo back to that point in the game, and rescore from that point forward. You can use Undo even after the game is complete. iScore stores all batting information with the Lineup Position, so that allows you to make changes to the actual players in each batting spot (changing the starting lineup or doing substitutions), but if the batting data was entered in the wrong lineup position, that is not going to be able to be changed without using Undo.

OhioTex,

In your reference posting you suggested printing the play by play after exporting. I have the printed score card but how can i print the play by play?

fair question..

reminder: play-by-play is a less detailed version of the pitch-by-pitch,
pitch-by-pitch is found on your handheld and play-by-play is on the web sites.

To print out Play-by-Play
Go to either your Admin Web Site or Team Web Site , (if you have one)
(assuming you have exported your game data to the servers)

Look under the Game menu/tab. and you will see a link for each game you have on the server

right click on the specific play-by-play link, and open in a new browser window

.. Now you can print like any other document (or you can copy and paste into a word document if you like)
