production ratings
Re: production ratings
Yeah the big thing is whether it is a called strike or swinging strike. I know on the 3rd strike it breaks it out but would need it broken out for earlier strikes. Then it is just a matter of assigning the appropriate rating to hit type and location. That shouldn't be hard at all. I will send out the rating scale that we used at Mississippi State later today.
Re: production ratings
Swipe the Strike button for a swinging strike.
Re: production ratings
I tried that and it doesn't work.
Re: production ratings
Works for me. Are you on the iPhone or iPad? Which version of the program? That's been in there for quite some time now. Maybe you just need to pactice getting the "swipe" right?

Re: production ratings
It works on all versions. Place your finger on the Strike button, and slide your finger up. It should say "Strike Swinging" when you do that.

Re: production ratings
The production rating would be as follows:
6 - batter hits a medium to hard line drive or home run (over the fence)
5 - batter hits a medium to hard ground ball or hard fly ball
4 - batter hits a soft ground ball or soft line drive in front of the outfielders
3 - batter hits a soft to medium fly ball
2 - batter hits a pop fly to the infield
1 - batter hits a foul ball
0 - batter swings and misses or called 3rd strike
The higher the average for the hitter means he is being productive with his swings while a low average for a pitcher means that he is missing a lot of bats and getting weak balls hit off of him or her.
